Business Consultant Geo Lead
Location: this is a virtual role. The successful candidate can be based anywhere within the Geo- Russia or Nordic, but will be expected to demonstrate a willingness and an ability to travel frequently and often within the Geo as well as outside in line with the needs of the business and the Practice.

The Business Consultant Geo Leader is responsible for all the Business Consultants within a Geo territory. The Business Consultant (BC) is a key member of the Teradata GTM Account team. The BC engages directly with named accounts, working closely together with the other account team members – the Account Executive and Solution Engineer.
The BC responsibility in the triad account team is to front the selling of business capabilities and solutions that leverage Teradata’s Vantage software. Solving complex business and industry problems with software and consulting services. This may be stand-alone projects or larger data management and analytics programs. The BC builds relationships to the customer’s business buyers & influencers, and will be focused on fostering customer business benefits and growth, by solving the data and analytics challenges they face.
The BC Geo Leader is responsible for coaching, developing, and supporting the team of BCs reporting into him/her. The BC Geo Leader is expected to also be personally involved in the most strategic and high potential customer opportunities within the Geo, building trust with key decision makers and supporting the account BC in the selling and closing of innovative services, solutions, and programs that drive recurring Teradata software revenue.
The Business Consultant Geo Leader reports to the Business Consultant Leader for EMEA and has a dotted line to the Geo Sales VP. The BC Geo Leader is a member of the Geo LT.
The Business Consultant Geo Leader is a critical business leader for Teradata. The leader is responsible for with his/her team of BCs to drive innovation within the target customer and prospect base on how to deliver real business outcomes with data and analytics. The primary objective with this is to drive consumption of Teradata software to the benefit of the customers. In order to accelerate the realization of this, the BC Geo Leader with his/her team will front the selling of assets, solutions, and consulting services at scale, focusing on the largest and differentiating opportunities.

This position implies frequent interactions with the customers, working in a combination of physical and virtual office environments, including home, office & customer site. Local travel up to 70% is expected depending on the location of the candidate with respect to the customer(s) site(s).
