Transformation Program Management is a worldwide team that’s vital to the ongoing evolution of Dell. It has an impact on users, processes, technology and organizational change in business units right across the company. We lead on global, enterprise-wide, foundation programs, often valued above $50M, that use the Engineering Program Management protocol. It’s all about using strong technical knowledge and identifying industry best practices to enrich program solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influences the It strategic and long-term focus Technology Strategy for Consumption Models
  • Provides leadership and direction to a team of Business Architects, Product Managers and Program Managers.
  • Leads teams to diagnose and resolves ambiguous problems.
  • Drive the success of data enablement projects on the roadmap alongside an established team.
  • Manages technical projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project
  • Conducts periodic reviews of the technical scope to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews
  • Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis and utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications
  • Defines supporting and/or driving process collaboration
  • Evaluates and recommends techniques and practices that ensure goal and timelines are achieved
  • Influences and manages continuous improvement of project/program process, practices and initiatives
  • Identify gaps in current data enablement workstreams and make recommendations on changes & enhancements; mitigate risk
  • Establishing project management standards and processes for the team including driving change and improving efficiency through best practices and cutting edge principles and concepts and developing and implementing new techniques and methodologies for data analysis, accuracy, efficiency and reporting
  • Leads cross-functional workstreams to transform key aspects of the Dell EMC portfolio leveraging global, industry-standard base design points best-practice aligned with core corporate strategic objectives
  • Contribute content and recommendations for deliverables that are intended for DellEMC leadership audience

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science or related field
  • Possess appropriate business knowledge and expertise with business analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of job associated programming languages SQL server, Tableau, MS Office products, knowledge of statistical packages is a plus
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Attention to details and ability to work with ambiguity
  • Present regular updates to senior management & executives
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to lead mid- to large-sized global project teams, manage risks and project decisions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and present at senior leadership levels
  • Proficient in negotiating, conflict management and influencing others to achieve results
  • Strong working knowledge of Flexible consumption Models is a plus
  • Creative problem solver – has the ability to find outside-the-box solutions to product and sales problems
  • Collaborator Extraordinaire – able to hold others accountable to tasks, even if not under their direct purview
