UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for UX/UI Designer to join Snap Team! We’re looking for an expert in user-centered design and UX research. In this role, you’ll create AR experiences for Snapchat. Your work will be instrumental in developing Snapchat’s visual style.

What you will do

• Create UX designs and prototypes and UI mock-ups, including wireframes, flowcharts, visual mock-ups, etc.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements and behavior
• Prototype and share your ideas, designs and interaction experiences by creating working prototypes using internal prototyping software
• Take part in shaping inventory of AR apps based on user base research
• Research trends of AR market and user’s behavior
• Design a variety of AR experiences
• Partner with developers and artists

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX/product design experience with prominent mobile and web applications (AR VR would be a plus)
• Highly proficient in Sketch, Photoshop, Invision or similar tools.
• Proven portfolio of developed products
• Upper-Intermediate English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with designing immersive AR/VR applications and/or designing with 3D assets is a big plus.
• Ability to convey AR concepts through wireframes, flows, storyboards, and mockups.
• Refined taste in art and an eye for design
• Ability to plan data-driven design experiments and conduct A/B tests to discover the right UX iteratively.
• An expert communicator who can effectively communicate a design and vision through text, speech, and imagery
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability toward the products
