Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to develop the B2B AED defibrillator business within the UK&I market through both a direct and indirect channel network.

Develop and maximize growth opportunities for AED resuscitation solution sales through creative business proposals, concepts and relationship management with key stakeholders and organizations.

You are responsible for

Business Development

  • Identify and prioritise new sales opportunities for the Philips AED portfolio.
  • Prepare and execute a business development plan that establishes creative sales strategies for direct business opportunities and for the indirect channel ensuring optimization of brand growth for the Philips AED portfolio. Execute in conjunction with the Indirect Channel team.
  • Provide consultative support and leadership with our AED solution portfolio to both pre-hospital direct and indirect channel and customers as required.
  • Drive analysis of win/loss deals and ensure pro-active ownership approach of key deals including strategy/deal planning including completion and support with tender submissions as required.
  • Ensure availability and validation of third party products / solutions required to build customer centric AED solutions.
  • Responsible for the development of AED product portfolio sales through the Philips E-shop in collaboration with e-commerce team.

Strategic marketing

  • Develop full understanding of the AED market and competitive dynamics and business opportunities within the market segmentations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies and growth opportunities in conjunction with the market team and Business Unit.
  • Support development of long term relationships with key influential organizations, customers and charities including KOL’s. e.g. UK Resuscitation Council, BHF, British Red Cross.

Channel development

  • Grow and establish a robust & professional B2B channel partner network for AED solutions focusing on market segmentation coverage in collaboration with the Indirect Channel Manager.
  • Support channel partners with business development to maximize their sales growth & opportunities.

You are a part of the Business Marketing & Sales team for Connected Care products. You are reporting directly to the Business Marketing Manager for Therapeutic Care.

In this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales & marketing role preferably in a B2B/B2C business environment.
  • Healthcare experience welcome.
  • Experience in working with Indirect channel partners/distributors a plus
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel) proficiently to deliver impactful presentations and deliver / report on key business metrics to internal and external stakeholders (clinical, financial and operational).
  • Work with marketing teams to maximise utilization of social media and digital tools to expand brand reach across the UK&I B2B AED defibrillator market.
  • Analysis of digital campaigns and measurement of success.
  • Fully understands equipment range, specifications and clinical relevance aligned with current resuscitation guidelines.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and promotion of product portfolio.
  • Proven ability to develop customer solutions.
