Job Role Summary

ExxonMobil's Medicine and Occupational Health (MOH) Department is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational health services at the future Gulf Coast Growth Venture (GCGV) facility located in Gregory, TX near the Corpus Christi area. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the GCGV Occupational Health Nurse and will form part of the larger ExxonMobil MOH function.

Primary Job Functions

• Provide and document services within the professional scope and standards of license specific to occupational health care of employees
• Perform medical surveillance and routine fitness for duty examinations as required by global and local MOH evaluation protocols
• Provide disability case management services for personal and work-related illnesses and injuries
• Conduct clinical assessments to determine fitness for duty (must understand relationship between work functions and medical conditions which guide decision making)
• Manage work-related medical conditions and evaluate injuries for OSHA recordability
• Provide travel health preparation for employee business travel
• Provide emergency treatment for injury / illness as needed
• Perform administrative duties related to delivery of the occupational health service, including scheduling of appointments, maintenance of medical records, and ordering of supplies, medications, and equipment

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing Degree, Masters of Nursing (MSN) – Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Texas Nursing Licensure required
• Prescriptive authority, DEA certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in Occupational Health Nursing
• Experienced in applied clinical health risk assessment and fitness for work determination
• Experienced in travel health and immunization practices
• Familiar with electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Active certifications in Drug & Alcohol Collection, NIOSH Spirometry, CAOHC Audiometry, Blood-borne pathogens training and Basic Life Support
