Global Sales/ Operations Lead

This position is globally responsible for the coordination of sales/ operations and cross functional business processes, as well as successful execution of initiatives within the business. This position will provide sales/ operations support working collectively with the Global Directors (Americas, Europe & Africa, Middle East & India, Asia Pacific and Global Strategic Accounts) and their Regional Sales Manager (RSM) teams as well as other functional support teams (customer service, production, logistics, finance, Customer Technical Excellence Center, legal, etc.). This role will include some project management and business analysis and other support including:

Primary tasks:

  • Proactively monitor, analyse and refine sales pipeline; ensure data integrity; push for order submittals prior to month end close. Support trend analysis for GM, Regional Directors.
  • Facilitate ongoing cooperation and smooth DEMAND input processes via Salesforce (CRM tool) pipeline as part of regular S&OP meetings, and meetings with commercial operations & supply chain
  • Support sales and POG legal on distributor/ channel partner agreements, maintenance and compliance, in addition to provide guidance/training and support in relation to export compliance
  • Support sales and POG legal for sales pursuits/ RFP/ RFQ legal documentation requirements, and tracking various functional inputs required to approve contractual agreements.
  • Own specific POG sales and marketing specific tasks like “key wins reporting”, proactively coordinate information updates for POG on internal communication platforms (i.e. autronicafire.com; Det-Tronics sales portal, Salesforce), coordinate POG annual wheel & activity calendar, support annual MFA (Customer survey), drive POG internal sales tool usage and updates (CRM- Salesforce, portal, etc.)
  • Coordinate CRM tool functionality, usage, new capabilities with Salesforce administrator
  • Support sales team on pre-qualifications and standardize information to sales in order for sales team to effectively submit vendor qualifications
  • Coordinate SIP (Sales incentive plan) execution together with finance and HR
  • Regular communication and sharing of best practice of key sales ops issues, changes, improvements to the POG team

Secondary tasks and initiatives

Support and where possible drive POG Customer Experience initiative

  • Leverage and champion the POG Customer Promise within organization for improved customer satisfaction and efficiencies.
  • Provide support for POG key exhibitions and events working with marketing
  • Creation and maintenance of assigned project deliverables (project plans, test scripts, standard work). Facilitate project communication
  • Manage cross functional projects from implementation to implementation and measurement

Job Responsibilities

Lead Interfaces with sales and operations teams to support growth and operational efficiencies Act as a facilitator between the Det-tronics sales/commercial operations team and Autronica sales/ operations teams. The role is key in driving ACE improvement work for POG vertical sales to order entry & handover to project processes. Support analysis of business trending and forecasting for current and future finance modeling Support planning efforts to define, develop and implement creative ideas and solutions to improve the customer experience. Lead and assist subject matter experts in research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and develop formal recommendations for presentation to leadership. Perform analysis on multiple integrated processes and workflows to ensure outcome of project efforts remain client-focused, consistent and effective.

Manage project deliverables on-time, within budget, and at the highest level of quality.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

Required

  • BS/BA degree in business, technical, manufacturing field or equivalent required

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in business administration, management or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer facing and related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and with business and operational performance measures
  • Demonstrated ability to meet business and financial objectives
  • Demonstrated team management, planning, and organizational, time management and communications skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately and handle multiple initiatives.
  • Global experience and business understanding a plus
  • Experience in leading process or systems implementations
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, MICROSOFT SUITE
