Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Solution Architect within Customer Engagement and Support (CES) organization which is part of Development Unit Network.

This job demands close interaction with DNEW PDUs, Systems & Technology, and Product Line. Furthermore, you will establish strong interfaces with the market areas, towards customer projects as well as the market competence centers and Global Competence Hubs.

This will be a senior technical lead role within the DU and will be an excellent career path to higher technical job stages. The role also gives fantastic opportunity to be exposed to various functions across the DUs as well as to the DU Leadership team.

The main tasks and responsibilities are to manage the technical dimension of trials, product introduction, deployment, maintenance and support operations of e2e solutions, in order to improve customers product perception through:

  • Lead and perform technical analysis of key customer deployment solutions;
  • Implement and maintain a knowledge base of solution deployment competence, actively drive the knowledge transfer from CES into market areas;
  • Secure network troubleshooting and monitoring tools and guidelines to support seamless deployment and support of e2e solutions;
  • Drive resolution of network level technical issues in customer networks in close cooperation with deployment and support teams in associated PDUs and Market Solution Architects;
  • Drive special technical task force operations for selected customer or markets to mitigate major product and services deficiencies;
  • Communicate special task force and improvement programs to customers C-level suite and when needed represent Ericsson on technical customer workshops;
  • Drive Resolution Teams for identified critical areas; perform Root Cause Analysis for major system problem areas encountered;
  • Actively drive feedback into the R&D community - representing the customer view;
  • Support strategic programs with technical insights to secure seamless deployment and support operations when introducing new technologies to the customers networks;
  • Facilitating and leading cross unit product and services improvement programs towards CES, PDUs, Product Lines, Services and Market areas.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Open minded, positive, flexible team player and a master of handling many tasks in parallel.
  • Strong proven track record with technical leadership within DU (e.g. product/solution development) and/or in the markets (e.g. Lead SA in customer deployment projects).
  • Experience with customer interaction
  • Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills, able to translate customer demands into action and complex technical explanations into eye opener presentations.
  • Customer oriented, business focused and technical skilled (Good sense to find several alternative solutions for different solution or network level issues considering both technical excellence and hard business needs)
  • Aimed to reaching agreed results and pro-active way of working
  • Experience in Operator understanding, business intelligence and competitor analysis
  • Strong skilled in coordination, team organization and self-organization
