General Position Summary/Purpose:

The Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A plays a dynamic role within the Corporate FP&A team. Reporting to the Associate Director, FP&A, the incumbent will act as the “go-to” person for all topics related to Host analytics. Responsible for model design and implementation per the business plan of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) work and schedule. Work closely with Accounting related to system maintenance and updates. Assist the FP&A team in transferring their financial plans (budgets, forecasts, reports) to Host Analytics. 5-7 years budgeting and forecasting experience, including expense, personnel, revenue, capital, and balance sheet planning are required. Advanced Excel skills are essential and experience with enterprise planning systems (Hyperion, Cognos, etc.) and financial management applications is desired.

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:

• Implement new budgets and forecasts requirements.
• Create and archive forecast scenarios
• Validate actual data from the GL system - AX dynamics
• Create and maintain standard and ad hoc forecast and variance analysis
• Analyzing spreadsheet-based financial models
• System maintenance and user management
• User access management based on team member responsibilities.
• Consulting with the FP&A team on budgeting and reporting best practices
• Be trusted advisor and system expert to the FP&A team
• Interact with HA technical support to troubleshoot supporting problems and issues
• Work with IT on system projects involving third party
• Keep up with the technical advancement of the system.
• Continually improve the PCYC application and user experience.

• 3-5 years of accounting and FP&A experience
• Excellent understanding of core FP&A responsibilities
• Ability to translate business logic into HA rules and calculations
• Strong analytical mind, problem solver with excellent trouble shooting skills
• Self resourceful and quick learner
• Team oriented and hard-working individual
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage projects and daily responsibilities simultaneously
• Experience with enterprise planning and financial application systems
