About the Role

For the Data Annotation Specialist position, we’re looking for someone who loves data and annotation to help improve our autonomous system. Even when you’re in a rhythm, you have a keen eye for detail and always maintain a passion for making machine learning models better, smarter, faster, and stronger. You’re eager to learn and grow with a small, diverse, and passionate team of the best of the best. This is a contract role.

About the Work

• Work to solve problems involving complex driving scenarios and corner cases, improve autonomous system’s ability to detect vehicle, pedestrian, cyclists, motorcyclists in that scenario
• Hands on data annotation to provide high quality labels to train machine learning models
• Perform quality assurance on labels delivered through third party vendors
• Collaboration and communication - work together with other software engineers and team members to solve tough problems

About You

• Comfortable working in robotics domain where things are visual/spatial in 2D and 3D
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working as an individual contributor on a team; once you understand the task at hand, it will be all yours to focus on and execute
• Friendly, positive attitude, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to help other software projects as needed
• Excitement about teaching robots and helping progress tools that will support the development of AI and robotics endeavors
• Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
