We are looking for a PLM Administrator working in a large hybrid database environment on Windows/Linux platform. This individual will constantly work with members across the organization to plan, resolve and communicate problems and perform regular maintenance to the PLM application. The cycle of work includes gathering requirements, design, code, debug, document, implement and maintain various DB projects.

What will this person do?

    • Proactively monitor alerts and system performance for issues.
    • Drive Incident Management processes and Incident Command functions on high severity issues.
    • Work with teams to ensure proper monitoring is in place and escalation processes are established.
    • Create or maintain operational runbooks or build automation to replace manual efforts.
    • Educate yourself on existing systems and infrastructure iteratively
    • Assist in solving the organization’s critical challenges to drive efficiencies, lower costs, and eliminate bottlenecks.
    • Establish feedback loops for discovered production patterns to ensure constant stability and drive iterative improvements.
    • Ensure security best practices are followed and vulnerability risks are mitigated quickly.

What are we looking for?

    • Knowledge of other PLM vendor like PTC Flex application setup & configurations, deployment automation & PLM functional knowledge
    • 3DExperience Platform (Enovia PLM) Application server setup, management, fine tuning, configuration & administration.
    • AWS or any Cloud Server ”Hands-On” experience in server setup, PLM application installation & DB Configuration, Scaling, Access Groups/Privileges management.
    • AWS skills on - Load balancer, RDS, Subnets, VPC, VPN, Route 53, Auto scaling groups, High availability, Security groups, S3 Buckets.
    • Exalead (Master/Slave) and FCS (Central/Remote) server Configuration and Maintenance
    • Windows Server and Linux/RedHat/CentOS Hands-on experience for job scheduling, scripting & process automation.
    • Oracle DB administration, DB tuning and DB refresh Activities and performing routine vendor DS recommended DB activities.
    • OKTA/SAML configuration with 3DPassport
    • PDF Rendering server configuration & setup is a plus.
    • Knowledge of configuration with Microsoft OS, LINUX OS, VMWare, and SANs.
    • Knowledge of configuration with Web Servers
    • Knowledge of configuration with OS Security
    • Knowledge of configuration with PCI DSS
    • Knowledge of configuration of Windows 20XX, Active Directory, IIS, Linux, DNS, FTP and SMTP
    • Knowledge of configuration .net, Powershell, Web Architecture, Multi-tier Architecture are preferred
    • Some knowledge of applications and development methodologies.
    • Proficient knowledge and experience with network and systems management/analysis tools such as vRealize Operations, New Relic, Nagios, ELK Stack, etc.
    • Ability to respond quickly, troubleshoot and resolve a system infrastructure problem in a methodical and effective manner.
    • Ability to document designs and reference architectures in detail.
    • Proven written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to provide a synopsis to management.
    • Must have a good grasp of system trends and the mission of the group in order to provide the most cost effective and efficient systems.
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with peers, managers and both internal and external customers
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
