The internship assignment

The Order Operations team is a link between our Sales Advisors, Delivery team, Field Sales teams, Fleet Management and the North America based Tesla production facilities, ensuring cars are delivered on time and according to the correct customers’ specifications. The Order Operations Intern is a member of the Order Operations team and ensures accurate handling of customer orders in Tesla systems. You ensure the correct and efficient handling of administrative duties involved in the purchase and hand-over of the car to the customer. Additionally you will be interfacing with our financial teams and Sales and Delivery Managers to ensure Order Operations is providing exceptional support to internal departments, creating the best customer experience possible.

Learning goals & Tasks

· After an internship with Order Operations, we expect that a candidate will have working knowledge of administrative duties within Tesla involved in the purchase and handover of vehicles to the customer.

· You will learn to coordinate requests with different departments, support internal customers and have gained a good amount of business knowledge pertaining to Tesla.

· You will be able to identify opportunities for improvement within Order Operations processes.

· You will learn how conduct yourself in business meetings and a professional environment.

Requirements

· English fluency is required

· Preferably studying a relevant field such as Business Administration

· Able to manage a high volume workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Experience with CRMs desirable

· Should be able to work in a fast paced and international environment

· Strong team player
