JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for execution BAS construction projects in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts
• Lead a team of 35 employees executing 150-200 projects annually
• Effectively manage team of System Specialist Supervisors and/or Project Engineer(s) or Manager(s), as required
• Provide leadership and management to our field team and coordinate the team resources to successfully execute installation projects that meets the branch's revenue and executed margin goal
• Responsible for the financial performance of the assigned installation business, including project planning, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects within the team’s portfolio

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of the building automation systems and construction projects business flow, including but not limited to relationship generation, field operations, financial understanding, and overall customer satisfaction mindset
• Prior experience in prioritizing and managing multiple projects at the same time
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and other Windows products
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills including strategic planning and execution
• Understanding of sales and business development
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate professionally and effectively
• Good understanding of construction safety laws

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

BA/BS degree with 8-10 years’ experience
MA/MS degree with 5-7 years’ experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Holds a current and active D1 or S1 license for the State of Connecticut

6 Sigma or related continuous quality improvement training and experience
Project Management Professional designation
LEED Accredited Professional
