The Strike, Surveillance and Mobility Finance team has an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Level Financial Controls Analyst to support the F-15 EPAWSS program. As the Financial Controls Analyst, you will engage with program Leadership, Acquire and Execute business partners and external customers. You will have the chance to work closely with F-15 Development Program Management including Executive and Senior Management; Program IPT Leads; Contracts and Pricing; Accounts Receivable and Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) among others.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the financial focal to the assigned program
- Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses. Defines and communicates earned value cost and/or schedule trends and quantifies cost and/or schedule risks for management attention/action.
- Initiate and lead integration and analysis of: performance measurement, variance analysis, and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts in support of Financial EACs. Coordinates financial controls activities across organizations, functions and/or business units.
- Make recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience.
- Prepare Financial EAC’s and present to management for approval
- Interface and coordinate with US Air Force Finance counterparts
- Develop and implement compliance plans to support internal process reviews and external regulatory requirements.
- Long Range Business Plan development, including loading financial data into EPAS and development of financial forecasts (orders, revenue, earnings, cash)
- Prepare CDRLs including the Integrated Performance Management Report (IPMR), Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR), and Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR)
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 or more years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Controls, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 3 or more years of experience in Program Management Best Practices (i.e., Requirements Management, Resource Management, Integrated Planning and Scheduling, Financial Oversight (EVM), Program Performance Management, Supplier Integration, RIO (Risk, Issue, Opportunity) Management, Program Communication, Senior Leadership Reviews, etc.)
- Proficient with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets.
- 3 or more years of experience working with technical, managerial and executive levels and leading presentations to them
- Willing and able to obtain US Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
- Knowledge of Financial Controls and/or Financial Operations processes and systems (EAS, CSPR, ReMICS, COGNOS, CLAS, FPCR, and EPAS).
- Demonstrated leadership skills, analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent communication skills are essential.
- Experience in forecasting, developing long range business plans and using the opportunity and risk system.
- Work with multi-function team, possess a positive work attitude, work well in a team environment designed to deliver accurate and complete information with first time quality.
- Experience working with Earn Value Management (EVM) and financial budgeting and control.
Typical Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
