Marketing Manager, QuickBooks Global Brand

Come join us as the US Brand Strategy & Performance lead on the QuickBooks Global Brand Marketing team. You will be responsible for co-developing the global strategic framework for brand and media strategies and helping to get them implemented in the US . You will partner with local cross-functional teams to build locally relevant and actionable plans and track progress on an on-going basis.
You will report to our Brand Strategy & Performance Leader, working closely with talented counterparts embedded in local marketing teams around the world.
To succeed in this role, you will have a rare mix of expertise in consulting, brand strategy, media, and analytics, in addition to experience working on cross-functional and global teams. Your commitment to delivering for our customers and supporting business priorities will help drive business for our marketing partners in the US and abroad.
Responsibilities
Develop Global Market Profiles & Customer Segmentation Work
- Develop state of the business analysis across our core global markets
- Provide ongoing analysis of QuickBooks customer and revenue mix
- Category development and competitive landscape analysis
- Build out customer segmentation work for the small business and self-employed space
Develop Global Media Frameworks & Implement Brand Strategy with Local Insights
- Collaborate with Global Media Strategy Lead on building & implementing global media strategic framework to drive brand development across the globe
- Provide local marketing teams with the strategic frameworks and guardrails to guide & support the creation of relevant, localized media plans and tactics that align to our global brand strategy
- Support local marketing team in defining “who” we are trying to reach, “how” we plan on reaching them and “when” the right time is
- Work closely with product marketing and integrated communications teams to inform the development of the right products, content and creative assets for different audiences and platforms
Lead Brand Performance Management
- Track US campaign & media performance by partnering with local cross-functional teams to identify, understand, and embed the underlying drivers of performance into our brand planning
- Track & analyze brand performance trends of QuickBooks and competitors locally & globally
- Provide clear and relevant performance insights to our stakeholders; as well as meaningful conclusions from brand, media, and business metrics to help inform our strategies, plans, and tactics on an on-going basis
Share & Reapply Best Practices across Markets
- Share real-time insights across markets & local teams to inform brand communications, business innovation, and in-market activation initiatives
- Share & reapply top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel best practices across markets
- Influence key stakeholders within our Global Marketing organization and our local Marketing teams to develop plans rooted on customer-back, data-driven insights with a continuous focus on a “test, refine, and deploy” mentality
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in consulting, brand analysis and strategy development, and/or brand performance work; with heavy emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and execution
- BS or BA degree; MBA strongly preferred
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience and passion to facilitate relationships (global & local marketing teams) to drive business results and be a strong collaborator with a willingness to take risks
- Demonstrated track record where candidate has operated independently and efficiently to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Capable of delivering clear and concise written/verbal communications to all levels of the organization, managing expectations of key business stakeholders and understanding the key elements that make QuickBooks brand and media strategies consistent and effective across the globe
- Maintain effective and collaborative relationships with a wide array of cross-functional partners including global marketing leaders, creative & content teams, agency partners, analytics, and product marketing
- Be a proponent of positive change and demonstrate the adaptability to deal with change and uncertainty in your day-to-day responsibilities
