Dropbox is the world’s first smart workspace that helps people and teams focus on the work that matters. With more than 600 million registered users across 180 countries, we’re on a mission to design a more enlightened way of working. Dropbox is headquartered in San Francisco, CA, and has 12 offices around the world.
At Dropbox, we aim to put the customer at the center of everything we do. With over 500 million users, the Customer Experience (CX) team is at the forefront of simplifying how our users and customers interact with Dropbox. We focus on solutions that work for our customers as well as implementing technologies that will simplify our customers’ journey. We bring the customer voice across the organization to ensure Dropbox delivers the best possible customer experience.
As our internal Interaction Designer you will be filling the role of a behavioral scientist in a design environment. Your primary mission will be to understand our business needs and customer experience requirements and transform that understanding into user-focused and intuitive experiences, interfaces, platforms for mobile and web.
You're actively involved in defining customer experience strategy. Thinking in terms of design systems and making rational design decisions. You obsess over details and are excited to polish until your work is pixel-perfect. Constantly pushing your limits and searching for opportunities to become better. Your team collaboration skills are unparalleled. You thrive in an environment with short feedback loops.
The primary focus will be on customers interacting with Dropbox for support; both assisted and unassisted. This will be a combination of improving existing experiences, designing new experiences and integrating with 3rd party providers.
Since you will be working closely with product and service owners, software engineers and technical program managers as well as other key stakeholders, you must be a team player.
Your tasks will include the creation of experience maps, user scenarios, mockups and flows which reduce friction and deliver higher value to customers.
