Primary Function of Position:The Sr. Marketing Manager, US Regional Programs will report directly to the Group Manager and/or Director of US Marketing Programs and Events. This will role will serve as a field based marketing leader for customer facing campaigns and events that support sales objectives in their assigned geographical area, including but not limited to: Strategic planning, marketing and execution of Regional Peer to Peer Summit Programs Ensure execution of the Executive Enrichment Regional VIP Experience Events Responsible for developing a regional pipeline of Surgeon, Executive and Peri-Operative Key Opinion leaders Responsible for developing a regional pipeline of distinguished Hospitals/Health Systems teams that are structured and disciplined in the development of a minimally invasive surgery service line Driving targeted marketing plans that support the National Executive and Peri-Operative Education Initiatives As a Sr. Marketing Manager, US Regional Programs, you will be required to be capable of managing multiple marketing initiatives in a results-driven environment, operating successfully within a corporate and commercial matrix organization, demonstrate functional capabilities in presentation design and delivery, work cross functionally through effective project management, and have a proven track record of Key Opinion Leader development. The Sr Marketing Manager will be accountable for forecasting, evaluating, measuring and reporting on the regional marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI.
This marketing function is a field based marketing position requiring you to live in the assigned region with a 50-75% travel expectation. This position will be geographically aligned with the Area Vice President and requires proven success in an influence or direct management function. This role will work in alignment with US Clinical Marketing, Product Marketing, Market Access & Custom Analytics team, and Sales.
Roles and Responsibilities:• Development and execution of a regional marketing program strategy developed in collaboration with US Marketing Programs, the Area VP, the Clinical VP and the Key Customer VP in support of current sales & marketing strategies• Strategic planning, marketing, execution, and follow up of Regional Peer to Peer Summit Programso Responsible for working directly with key sales stakeholders on proper targeting, preparation, onsite execution, and follow up for Regional Programso Responsible for planning the regional and/or national speakers line up that match the strategy needs for key MSA evento Inclusion of key ISI messaging into presentations: Programmatic Value, Clinical Value, Econ/Strategic Value, and System/Product Valueo Responsible for developing a strategic follow up plan in conjunction with customer & sales goals that create a continuum for change within a hospital environment• Ensure a best-in-class Executive Enrichment VIP experienceo Responsible for targeting, planning, executing and following up on VIP opportunitieso Responsible for identifying & building additional distinguished Hospitals/Health System teams that are structured and disciplined in the development of a minimally invasive surgery service line o Inclusion of key ISI messaging into presentations: Programmatic Value, Clinical Value, Econ/Strategic Value, and System/Product Value• Coach & develop a pipeline of new Regional Surgeon, Executive and Peri-Operative KOL speakers within distinguished Hospitals/Health Systemso Develops critical skill sets for new and existing key MDE speakers: Presentation development and Delivery Video Creation and Editing Messaging that integrates the System/Product/Ecosystem Incorporating local market insights and clinical/economic outcomes datao Creates a scalable best-practice process for identifying, vetting, and developing and coachingKOLs that can deliver high-impact messaging that is consistent with our ISI Storyo Creates a KOL assessment document and process which outputs a tailored development pathwayo Identifies / assesses / develops / promotes incremental regional Hospital/Health System requirements for key service line initiatives within the MSA• Driving targeted marketing plans that aligns and incorporates the National Executive and Peri-Operative Education Strategies and Initiatives
QualificationsSkill/Job Requirements:
• 12+ years’ experience in a medical device company in either Sales or Marketing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
• Minimum 1 year commitment to the role is required
• Excellent executive level presentation skills
• Demonstrated track record of surgeon and executive KOL development
• Desire to work directly with all robotics program hospital Key Stakeholders to collect and present clinical and economic data
• Ability to work effectively with Sales leadership at the Director and VP level
• Creative problem solving and an ability to effectively communicate actionable direction and information across varying organizational levels
• Cross-functional leadership skills are required
• The ability to influence non-direct reports to achieve program goals that result in improvements of overall regional performance
• Proven agility with the ability to anticipate and overcome roadblocks to success
• Passionate about attention to detail and quality of work good presentation skills
• Ability to travel 50-75%
