Job Description
As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will operate, administer, and expand our marketing technology stack. You will help us optimize our customer journey through the use of technology, processes, and operational best practices. You will trial and implement new solutions that will add efficiencies to our sales and marketing teams and/or optimize the customer journey. You will be responsible for developing our marketing analytics reports and dashboards and ensuring we have the data we need to understand the state of the funnel on a realtime basis. Our current marketing stack includes Marketo, Segment, Engagio, Bizible, Intercom, and Salesforce - however, we are always looking for new solutions that can augment our current stack. Responsibilities:
- Manage (operate and administer) our expanding Marketing technology stack to ensure we are leveraging technology to optimize our entire customer journey from anonymous visitor to trade show attendee to qualified lead to opportunity to paying customer
- Produce and maintain a set of business analytics reports and dashboards to allow the marketing team to understand the state of our funnel and the ability to analyze current performance against past performance
- Work with our demand generation and content marketing teams to build, operate, and optimize email marketing programs
- Work with our sales and business development teams to ensure seamless distribution of leads to sales executives
- Investigate, trial, and implement new technology and tools that improve the efficiency of the marketing and sales teams and/or improve the customer journey experience
- Implement and manage the marketing operation aspects of our Account Based Marketing programs (ABM)
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ yrs experience in a marketing operations role in the B2B market
- Hands on experience administering and operating marketing automation software (Pardot and/or Marketo) as well as working with the Salesforce CRM
- Experience with additional Ops tools: Engagio, Bizible, Outreach, LeanData
- Highly analytical and can effectively use data to explain trends in the business
- Experience tracking and reporting various digital and in-person channels (trade shows, field events, etc)
- Expert user of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Goal-oriented and able to manage complex projects across teams
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
