SUMMARY

Responsible for driving brand and product desire and credibility through the demonstration and partnership across Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including but not limited to: Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Aestheticians, Media partners, Social influencers, etc. This manager will work to exponentially to grow the desire for the brand across consumer target audiences and major influence drivers across both the beauty and tech industries. This role will also develop new marketing ideas and content such as testimonials, endorsements and demonstrations of new uses/efficacy of devices and replenishment products for broader publication and advertising usage at multiple stages of the product lifecycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualize, lead and manage demand driving strategy, executive and creating events involving influencers, editors, KOLs across beauty, dermatology, technical and popular culture
• Provide cross-functional leadership and support on all brand and communication initiatives.
• Construct end-to-end full scale dermatologist and key-influencer campaigns that support brand initiatives, objectives and KPIs
• Contribute to and deliver annual business goals and objectives.
• Manage P&L on KOL related activities and events
• Liaise with DMI on new product launches by ensuring consistent press in core media categories
• Increase brand awareness, brand buzz, and skincare SOV
• Manage, seek out and secure awards for core new product launches
• Secure brand product features and placements in appropriate media categories
• Create innovative press mailing and launch events
• Manage budget, agencies and contracts in accordance to L’Oreal Corporate policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 7+ years of experience in dermatologist relations on either the agency or client side; background in cosmetics, beauty, or fashion.
• Medical device experience a plus
• Strong network within top KOLs in the beauty and tech industries
• Strategic understanding of traditional, digital/social specific media marketing in addition to appropriate metrics of success
• The ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams a must
• Strong relationships with talent representation and digital/social networks
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail; written, spoken, presentation, etc.
• Agency Management
• Business Development
• Product launch experience
