THE OPPORTUNITY:

Do you like designing intuitive web based software applications that delight users? Are you able to quickly spot inefficient user experiences and start coming up with ideas on how it could be improved? Our team members use web-based software applications to onboard new clients, take them through underwriting, negotiate with creditors on their behalf and help them manage their own debt plans. We are always working to make our systems faster and more efficient, and we’re looking for a UX designer that can partner with product and engineering to make this happen.

THE ROLE:

• Contribute to the successful development of Freedom Debt Relief’s web-based digital product portfolio through best-practice UX processes to deliver optimal user outcomes.
• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mockups and prototypes that can be user tested to validate effectiveness.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Take a user-centered design approach, and rapidly test and iterate your designs while collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:

• Three or more years of UX Design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
• Expertise in UX and design software such as InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq; Sketch and Photoshop is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Extensive experience in using UX Design best practices to design solutions.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design, testing methodologies and usability concerns.
• Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Familiarity with working on Salesforce Lightning Design System preferred, but not required.
