UI Engineer, Trading team / Core Dev

Job Description

We are looking to add an experienced developer to one of our growing quantitative trading teams, with a focus on UI expertise. This individual will be tasked with assessing, improving and supporting the suite of applications which are a combination of desktop and web applications (JavaScript / React / Redux on the front-end, and Python and C++ on the back-end). He/she will work collaboratively with different team members including traders, quants and developers to understand their needs and architect/design robust solutions.

Skills you'll need:

• Passion for development, strong work ethic, and drive to continually learn and improve
• At least 4+ years of UI development experience
• Experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, React, Redux
• Experience with Python
• Ability to write reliable and readable code, and provide code review feedback to others
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience with Linux

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Python back-end frameworks like Tornado or Flask
