The Finance function is a dynamic organization that plays a critical role, particularly as increasing regulatory and capital requirements change the way we do business. Planning & Analysis (P&A), in addition to CFO teams, Controllers, Business Managers and Project management, make up the majority of the Global Finance & Business Management team.
Function Overview
Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) extends to India and is part of JPMorgan’s offshore center (Corporate Centers) as well. The team supports Finance Operations, Controllers, Planning & Analysis and Business & Sales support. The teams in India are all aligned to their respective business finance teams and the sales & business teams they support. Locally the teams are managed under a common governance and oversight framework.
The GF&BM Tech CoE is involved in the design, development, maintenance, migration and production support of various automation solutions including VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) Macros/Tools, MS Access Databases, Alteryx and Xceptor. The team follows Agile framework to deliver these solution and works closely with various finance operations teams to increase financial process efficiency and provide error-free results with minimum user intervention through automation.
Role Description
The role involves practicing the Agile framework and engage directly with multiple stakeholders (including product owners and process owners) to develop automation solutions for the business. Typically these will be various tactical solutions to aid process owners’ automation needs, which could be a stand-alone tool or integrate with one of the mainstream systems. Each member of the team has their own projects to complete the software development life cycle.
The candidate should demonstrate complete ownership and end to end responsibility in the tasks/projects assigned, and should be capable of participating in process owners or management meetings to gain more knowledge of the project work. The candidate is also expected to provide post production support and find ways to improve performance of various modules or components requiring strong analysis, research and debugging skills. The candidate should be open to working in shifts (11:30 AM to 8:30 PM).

Technical (Must Have Skills):
- Expert Level VBA Programming
- Knowledge on Agile and Scrum framework
- MS Access Database Concepts (2013).
- Expert Level Excel Macros & MS Access Macros (2013).
- Expert Level SQL (Structured Query Language).
Technical (Nice to Have Skills):
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Designer
- Working knowledge of Alteryx
- Working knowledge of Xceptor
- VB.net

- Must have Bachelor's degree or above, in related stream of education from an accredited college/university
