Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Review Senior Officer for its Fort Lauderdale, Florida location.

Duties: Manage the execution of critical Fundamental Credit Risk (FCR) reviews and Business Monitoring for the Citi Wholesale business in the Latin America (LATAM) and North America (NAM) regions. Monitor and evaluate portfolios and recommend related strategies and credit risks for Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG), Citi Commercial Bank (CCB), and Citi Private Bank (CPB) clients. Review and assess the appropriateness and completeness of credit risk components of assigned portfolios and assess business and risk models to ensure appropriate resources for complex entities. Identify, strategize, and develop solutions to known risks. Assess the accuracy and appropriateness of risk ratings and classifications for assigned Wholesale portfolios. Responsible for developing and maintaining the FCR Plan, the Sample Rationale Document, and other key FCR documents. Produce quarterly reports for Business Monitoring to capture portfolio trends, movements, highlights, and any areas of concern. Escalate and advise on the contents of these reports to senior management and to senior-level Risk Management and Finance Committees. Participate in the professional development of FCR Lead Reviewers and other members of the FCR team, providing guidance and coaching to centralized team members. Interact with other senior credit officers in the designated business lines across the LATAM and NAM regions.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting or closely related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Senior Credit Officer, Country Risk Manager, Senior Portfolio Manager, Credit Analysis Team Manager, or closely related position at a global bank. Full term of work experience must include: Regulatory risk ratings and classifications; Risk Rating Models; Managing credit risk reviews and credit portfolios; Credit risk policies and procedures at a global bank; Credit Analysis; Financial statement analysis and credit risk industry analysis.
