You will work in the Real-World Solutions (RWS) business unit. The team is over 60+ consultants with various capabilities in real-world evidence, epidemiology, market access and health economics.
Role summary:
As part of a project team, you will apply machine learning methods to real-world problems in healthcare, especially for observational studies, both with primary or secondary data collection. You will work closely with the project manager, the epidemiologist and the statistician.
• Work with the team and client to shape and develop requirements for answering ambitious life science questions
• Address those requirements by developing and applying appropriate processes
• Communicate technical concepts and analytical outputs to a diverse set of stakeholders
• Be part of the relevant deliverables of client-facing projects from a technical perspective in an agile environment to deliver high quality, robust insights
• Contribute to code reviews during projects and provide feedback
Education:
Master’s Degree in data science or advanced analytics, preferably with experience/degree from a French university.
Experience:
At least one year of experience in data science for observational or clinical studies.
Skills:
Knowledge of supervised machine learning methods and deep learning methods
Knowledge of good practices
Experience with Python and strong programming skills are necessary
Good level of practice with Office tools: Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint
Strong communication skills, orally and in writing, both in French and in English
Team player, able to integrate in an international and multidisciplinary team
Knowledge or experiences in the following areas are appreciated:
Experience of code development in collaborative environments
Knowledge of healthcare patient-level data
Knowledge of epidemiology and biostatistics, particularly analytical issues relating to studies of treatment effectiveness, disease progression, adherence, healthcare utilisation...
Knowledge of healthcare / life science issues
