Job Description

Walt Disney Television is seeking a Coordinator with the ability to support several project managers and projects concurrently on the Partnership Marketing and Creative Production team (PMAC) at Disney Channels Worldwide. The Production Coordinator reports to the Managers, Production and supports the overall workflow of all projects running through the Production team of Partnership Marketing and Creative, maintaining an awareness of the general status of all projects flowing through the department, and being primarily responsible for collection, distribution, and cataloging of assets, viewing files and supporting deliverables, with some delegation to the Production Assistant team of Disney Channels Worldwide Marketing Production.
Bachelor’s degree in media related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
Minimum 1 year combined experience in the following areas:
  • Network/Cable Television
  • Production Company/Studio
  • Line production, shoot management
  • Post-production and delivery
  • Commercials, On-Air Promotions, Interstitials, Music Videos, Shorts, Digital - Platforms, Long-form

  • Coordinate the collection of assets, viewing files and supporting deliverables as needed by the Partnership Marketing & Creative team, including Production, Strategy and Creative.
  • Onboard new vendors on deliverable specifications and production expectations as needed.
  • Maintain shared document folders, housing SOPs, troubleshooting & supporting documents for various production workflows.
  • Support managers on various projects to maintain online project management database as a reflection of current project status.
  • Run media playback at Legal/Standards & Practices meetings & Creative Review meetings.
  • For projects going through the internal editing facility (The Bridge), serve as primary liaison with scheduling team, ingest team, graphics production team, and individual editors, finishers, audio engineers, graphic artists and operators. Keep Production and Creative leads from PMAC in the loop and coordinate their review of edit schedules or attendance at sessions. Work hand in hand with Production lead for each PMAC project on the Bridge to keep the internal edit and graphics portion of the project on track.
  • Assist on shoots as needed.
  • Work with Managers to process invoices from vendors based on information from partners and Production leads, getting Director of Production’s approval and submitting to Finance for processing.
  • Build contract requests from templates for each vendor project, getting approvals from each project’s Production Manager and the Director of Production, then submitting to the Legal/Business Affairs team to create and send a contract to the vendor.
  • Back up Production Managers and overall Production team as needed.
