Job Description

The Energy Inside Sales Advisor is to become the main point of contact for the Powerwall sales in Japan, taking ownership of lead management and closing sales in order to enable the transition to sustainable energy.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Follow-up on inbound leads to assess the prospect's needs and qualify the opportunity
  • Adhere to activity metrics, and close a targeted number of opportunities per quarter. Take ownership of finalizing the sales for all opportunities
  • Utilize a consistent contact process to follow-up, nurture, and close leads generated by marketing campaigns via email, phone and CRM software
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts based on direct experiences with potential clients
  • Assist with the development of process and documentation for efficiently qualifying business opportunities and partners
  • Research, understand, define, and disseminate functional requirements from the market, coordinating with internal business and engineering team members
  • Stay abreast of sales industry trends and best practices
  • Provide reporting as and when required by management
  • Assist field retail staff as required during event season

This is multi-faceted role where strong knowledge of the product and the market for energy storage is expected.   • Deep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric grid

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Professional fluency in English and native-level Japanese required
  • Knowledge of battery technology, PV technology, grid markets a plus
  • Renewable industry (Solar panel or storage system etc.) for residential sales experience a big plus
