Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

This Senior Business Analyst will work closely with Compliance and Ops Risk to identify functional gaps, gather requirements, create functional systems design documents, and work with the development/QA teams to implement technology solutions. They will be working with new applications and will be challenged with shifting priorities, plan changes, etc., but will be part of the larger plan to implement strategic platforms for Wells Fargo Compliance and Operational Risk organizations.

Location: This position is located in Charlotte, NC


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading multiple projects

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Very good understanding of technology concepts and how systems integrate/interface with each other
  • Experience writing requirements for custom proprietary applications
  • Experience using issue tracking tools like Jira, ALM, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience capturing/documenting requirements, creating documentation, collaborating with technology development teams, and implementing systems
  • Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners
  • Knowledge and understanding of business process, ability to diagram out process flows and then create detailed procedures for customer facing team members
  • Demonstrated ability to create wire-frames that translate business requirements into achievable functionality
