EMEA Learning & Development Analyst

The Learning & Development team provides training and development services to over 4,000 employees across Asset & Wealth Management in Europe. Our business consists of Global Wealth Management (Private Banking) and Global Asset Management. As part of the Global HR group, the EMEA AWM L&D team is committed to working in partnership with the business to deliver development solutions that support the business strategy, increase knowledge and enhance performance across all areas of the business.

About the role:

You will work closely with the EMEA & Global L&D teams, key business stakeholders and other partners in Asset & Wealth Management to support and shape our programs to ensure they deliver a high ROI for the business.

Reporting to an AWM Training Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing the agenda’s for our Core Induction Programs. Including booking senior business speakers, writing and sending calendar invites, writing up the agenda, briefing senior speakers, booking rooms and catering.
  • Supporting & project managing a number of our ‘Development Programs including:
    • building project plans in excel
    • program logistics: room bookings, catering, creating agendas, name badges/cards, creating PowerPoint slides,
    • liaising with speakers and delegates, sending communications.
    • ensure virtual classroom links are available to participants and materials are uploaded to the virtual room.
    • Provide on-site logistical support for select training events
  • Planning and organizing our Professional Skills Courses that run in London & Europe. Liaising with and booked external vendors, creating schedules of work, sign in sheets, course materials. Pulling together feedback and creating slide decks.
  • Pulling reports, analyzing data for key themes and trends, ability to create pivot tables, graphs and transfer this data into PowerPoint slides to tell a story.
  • Expense management : create Purchase Orders (POs) and process invoice payments for vendor program delivery. Process non-vendor/program related invoices. Record program expenses via global financial tracking system and reconcile against the budget.
  • Functioning as an ‘L&D ambassador’ able to answer queries and questions relating to our programs via email and telephone. We partner closely across all levels of the business analyst through to MD so strong English communication skills are required for the role.

Experience & attributes:

  • 3 + years of professional experience (preferably in HR).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Client-centric with strong interpersonal skills able to build partnerships with clients and key global stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator who is proactive in building relationships, sharing knowledge and leveraging best practice across different lines of business.
  • Ability to priorities and manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-moving, complex global environment.
  • Must be detailed oriented and analytical
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively and on virtual teams
  • Impeccable attention to detail; tenacity and adeptness in problem-solving and identifying solutions
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis Excel, PowerPoint, and web based learning tools preferred
  • Knowledge of virtual conference conferencing tools such as Adobe Connect and/or Webex will be an advantage
  • Ability to travel as some events take place in other European locations.
