Quality Assurance Lab Analyst are vital to the success of our business at P&G. The P&G Sacramento plant manufactures bulk chemicals and is looking to hire analysts for the onsite laboratory. Analysts work rotating shifts as the plant is a continuous operation. Meaningful work on day 1:

We do various types of work, including responsible for your own analyses, troubleshooting quality related issues, and working within a team to eliminate quality related risks. From the beginning, you will be getting involved, impacting situations and executing business-related responsibilities.

Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting various analyses on finished product and intermediates
  • Operating against method control strategies
  • Serving as a troubleshooting resource
  • Leading laboratory investigations
  • Communicating relevant status and updates to the team
  • Calibrating and troubleshooting lab instruments as needed

We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to be able to display the following skills, including:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytical test methods.
  • Appropriate chemical and/or nomenclature and can read and write chemical symbols.
  • Detailed knowledge of laboratory & chemical safety and use of SDSs (including emergency procedures).
  • Good notebook/database maintenance and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of gas chromatography.

Qualifications

We believe you will be an excellent fit here if, you:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
  • Work rotating shifts

Preferred work experience or certifications:

  • Associated degree in Chemistry or related field or Two years of laboratory work experience desired
