Predictive Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Predictive Maintenance Vibration Technician will provide condition-based vibration analysis services and technical support to all Lilly Indianapolis sites. The focus of this position is to provide predictive maintenance expertise to reliably maintain critical manufacturing process and utility equipment.
The Vibration Technician is expected to understand the needs and requirements of their business partners and deliver exceptional technical support and service.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:

• Collect and analyze vibration data on rotating equipment. Issue reports on findings and recommendations for repair and improvements to the equipment owners.
• Partner with Maintenance Supervisor & Planner on work order backlog.
• Maintain and update equipment route lists and databases in the predictive maintenance software.
• Consult with requester(s) to optimize PdM workloads and cycles.
• Participate in and provide technical support for the troubleshooting, RCM and Root Cause Failures Analysis processes.
• Perform vibration baseline and acceptance testing on new equipment.
• Utilize CMMS (Maximo) to document work and labor hours.
• Responsible for the adherence of all Lilly Health, Safety & Environmental and Quality/GMP rules and regulations.
• Maintain compliance with all required Safety, Quality and Technical training requirements.
