Description

Major Responsibilities:

• Analyse application security requirements and create security test cases for the application
• Execute tests (Manual & Automated) and document the security issues and suggest countermeasures for security improvements.
• Effectively document identified defects and co-ordinate with developers to resolve any product issues and track it to closure.
• Work in End to End system administration across a range of operating systems and environments, such as Windows/Linux.
• Follow the security policies, procedures and continuously improve the quality of the test process.
• Partner, guide and inspire development teams to address security concerns.
• Demonstrate common penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools on different OS platforms (Windows, Linux).
• Assess current practices and identify and implement relevant policies to ensure state of the art testing practices as they relate to security.
• Help review peer's work and mentor the junior members in the team
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery of testing assignments.
• Ensure verification activities are conducted in a compliant way within the applicable sections of the LBS Quality Management System.

Job Requirements
Qualifications

Essential:

• Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering background. Alternatively, equivalent in Cybersecurity background.

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Software Testing which includes a mandatory 2 years’ experience in Scripting languages such as (Perl, Shell, Python) and ability to write scripts/tools to assist in testing

• Experience in Agile development processes and methodologies.

• ISTQB foundation certification or equivalent.

• Planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, medical devices, networks or data.

• Preparedness to accept responsibility and accountability for verification delivery and associated key decisions.

• Familiar with HP ALM, JIRA for defect and change management.

• Experience in End to End System Administration Windows and Linux

• Good communication skills

o Effective and Clear Communicator, attention to detail and self-driven individual

o Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal

• Dedicated problem solver with positive personality.

Highly Desirable:

• Good understanding of the IP protocols and associated security mechanisms: TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, PKI.

• Familiarity with application layer risks, attacks security principles and application security industry resources such as OWASP.

• Experience in the Medical Device/IVD field with exposure to design control regulations.
