The pan-ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group) TSR (Technical Sales Rep) is a technical inside sales specialist, partnering up with the ISR (Inside Sales Rep) to provide technical advice and ISG solutions expertise into the Medium Business selling process. Fully adept in Dell Technologies’ ISG products and services, the pan-ISG TSR plays a leading role in scoping, designing, pricing and advancing datacenter opportunities to grow our ISG Business in the Medium Business customer segment.

Key Responsibilities

The pan-ISG TSR role is a technical inside sales role, focused on increasing sales of Dell Technologies ISG by delivering technical expertise into our Medium Business inside sales process. A strong partner to the ISR, the pan-ISG TSR is responsible for the design and technical presentation of fully integrated ISG solutions. Primary responsibilities include leading the technical sales account strategy, strong engagement with datacenter decision makers and technical leadership at the customer’s side and mobilization of BU specialists and ISG product team members as required.

The pan-TSR also proactively assumes ownership of ISG opportunity pipeline building through execution of marketing account plays and outbound call initiatives. The pan-ISG TSR brings a high degree of technical competence to the selling process and contributes to regular MB account and opportunity planning sessions to develop clear strategies to drive incremental sales of ISG Solutions. They interface directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our solutions, proposes appropriate technical solutions and identifies and addresses opportunities to maximize our ISG business while meeting customer’s needs. The pan-ISG TSR is seen as a trusted advisor and an expert in Dell Technologies’ ISG solutions for the Medium Business customer segment.

Essential Requirements

Thorough understanding of the Dell Technologies ISG product portfolio. Strong technical consultative selling skills. Ability to work in a complex and high-pressure environment. Experience in defining and executing account strategies and growth plans. Advanced knowledge of ISG solutions architecture and value proposition. Advanced verbal, written, and presentation communication skills to interact with senior leaders. 3+ years relationship sales experience.
