The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the Corporate Administrative Office (CAO). The RQD (Risk Quantitative Development) IT Organization has responsibility for implementation of Retail financial models in credit, collections, fraud, and regulatory reporting, as well as providing firm-wide model governance systems, and analytical environments for business analysts and model developers. The candidate will be part of the Retail Basel Capital program aims to remediate existing manual/UT processes for calculating Retail RWA with an end to end integrated solution via the Capital Desktop along with monthly Production reporting, Calculator and process enhancements as mandated.
Responsibilities: - Grooming the product backlog based on the prioritization provided by the product owners
- Creating the requirements in the form of user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.
- If in case the user stories have been already created by the product owner (with acceptance criteria), then reviewing them to make sure that every business rule is covered and the acceptance criteria meet the user story functionality.
- Working with the product owner and the stakeholders to understand the scope, suggest improvements to the requirements, etc.
- Preparing documents like wireframes, design flow, UI etc., as and when required.
- Business Analyst is an important participant in the brainstorming sessions when the team meets to discuss the upcoming sprint’s backlog.
- BA should guide the team, helps them to understand the requirements and even at times has to approve the implementation.
- BA also needs to perform QA’s like thorough testing, analyzing the test coverage, converting real-world use cases into test cases, providing insight to test complex functionalities, etc.
- BA should also participate in the planning meeting to help the team in estimations by helping them to understand the flow, complexity, and dependency.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Assertive communication skills – both verbal & written.
- Strong in Excel, Power Point, JIRA,Visio skills.
- Ability to write SQLs and understand data models
- Ability to understand technical architecture and various technology components within the system
- Prior experience in building applications in Athena or equivalent for RWA domain
- Knowledge of BASEL III & IV guidelines and understand the various attributes pertaining to Retail products is a big plus
