Reconciliation Operating Unit (ROU ) provides reconciliation services covering the following:

  • Cash Reconciliations at Client Account, Client to Market and Nostro levels
  • Asset Reconciliations at Client Account, Client to Market and Omnibus levels
  • Other Reconciliations by Asset Class, stand-alone and bespoke reconciliations supporting regulatory client or product requirements Key Responsibilities
  • Completes operational balancing and reconciliations and identification of breaks
  • Investigation of breaks to source them to the correct resolver groups
  • Matching of breaks
  • Monitors the aged breaks queue and drive closure
  • Performs routine inquiries and research
  • Regular and adhoc reporting
  • Coordinates with internal business partners and processing hubs
  • Feeds and data validation including data upload activities
  • Set-up/closure of accounts in the Reconciliations Tool
  • Assists with systems testing or enhancements
  • Participates in various projects/activities as assigned
  • Review and validation of output of reconcilers/analysts
  • Work queue allocation and management
  • Supports the team manager in his daily and any adhoc tasks

Education/Training/Background Required:

  • 4-5 years of work experience in a banking/finance/operations role; at least 1 year in a team lead/supervisor capacity
  • Accounting/Finance/Business graduates (CPA license an advantage)
  • Funds Services/Reconciliations knowledge/back ground is an advantage
  • Six Sigma or related training an advantage
  • iRecs/WINS/COSMIC background an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in Transfer Agency an advantage
  • Knowledge of GFAS /GTA an advantage
