Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op Aerospace Engineering

The UTC Aerospace Systems Co-op Program is one of the cornerstones of the company's college recruiting strategy. Students hired into this program represent our pipeline of talent - our future executives! This program provides an opportunity for a short term work assignment for students pursuing degree programs directly related to our core business.
The co-op will work on some if not all of the following projects. The need for this assistance is driven by increased focus on customer and manufacturing support by the manufacturing engineering staff.
1. Support the modification, review, and release of Work Instructions and procedures
2. Support the specification, purchase and integration of new equipment to the factory

3. Support manufacturing engineering projects
4. Support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce scrap
The position will gain experience in operating methods and equipment, documentation revision practice, policy and call out alteration, and acceptance testing for aerospace customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Requires US citizenship or permanent residence (green card).
