Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Systems Test Engineer, located in Menomonee Falls, WI.

  • You will develop test cases and associated procedures based upon requirements. Analyze system requirements for testability.
  • You will develop and maintain test scripts, software tools and fixtures for the validation of embedded software/firmware in electronic motor control, motor protection and monitoring systems
  • You will execute tests, document test results and validate defect corrections and design, develop and execute test scripts.
  • You will Prepare reports on test progress and regression, develop reusable libraries for test automation and design and maintain software tools and hardware fixtures for efficient and effective testing of products.
  • You will develop advanced automated test frameworks to exercise our world-class applications in an effort to increase test coverage and reduce testing costs.
  • Requires 10% domestic/international travel for business meetings, training, and to resolve product issues.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or a directly related field plus six (6) years of test engineering experience.
  • Experience must include:
    • Two (2) years of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
      • Developing software or firmware
      • Developing automated tests
      • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools;
    • One (1) year of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
      • Working with MATLAB, Python, and C/C++; and
      • Developing Hardware in Loop System (HiL).
