As the Senior Director/Head of Organization and Team Development, you will assess the organization transformation requirements and set the strategy for taking Zuora’s organization and team performance to the next level to achieve our aspirations for growth. Partnering closely with Business Leaders, the VP of Leadership & Talent Development, and the ZEO Success team, you will provide thought leadership and drive execution of organization interventions and best-practice team and leadership development strategies to transform the way Zuora operates from a leadership hierarchy to a team of teams. to achieve our vision of a world subscribed.

What you’ll do & achieve:

• Plan and direct all aspects of Zuora’s organizational development function including assessing and implementing structure, systems, processes and learning strategies to drive alignment, performance and growth.
• Drive organization interventions to achieve our organization transformation aspirations such as shifting from a traditional leadership hierarchy to ‘team of teams’ driving business results across the enterprise as well as evolving the culture to a truly customer-centric organization.
• Assess our current structure ( formal hierarchical relationships as well as the coordinating mechanisms, like teams and pods, that support horizontal integration across functions) and design the organization in a way that enables continuous adaptation and agility in an ever evolving environment.
• Partner closely with business leaders, and work across the ZEO Success function, to drive breakthrough performance and team effectiveness solutions focused on ensuring customer success, employee engagement and career growth.
• Provide expertise and guidance for evolving Zuora’s leadership requirements from executive to first line managers as a blueprint for developing leaders at all levels.
• Define the strategy and implement metrics-based, scalable leadership development programs at all levels to continue to build the required leadership capability to scale.
• Coach leaders and facilitate strategic team interventions to unlock performance barriers and accelerate business outcomes.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• 10+ years of Organization Effectiveness, Executive/Leadership Development.
• Track record of consulting with the business and delivering tangible business performance- oriented outcomes from strategic talent interventions
• Expertise in behavioral sciences, organization development, leadership development, change management
• Ability to align talent solutions to complex, multi-stakeholder business problems and utilize strategic thinking skills to solve organization challenges
• Passion for building relationships and working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results
• Strong track record of partnering with the HR community in an integrated and collaborative way.
• Outstanding communication both written and oral; excellent facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to work individually and on a collaborative team in a fast paced and continuously evolving global environment
• Successful track record of developing and leading others (both in a direct leadership capacity as well as cross-functional team lead capacity.).
• Ability to travel when required
