We are currently offering the opportunity for dynamic and engaging individuals to join the Latin America Center in Coral Gables, FL as a Client Service & Operations Specialist. The Latin America Center supports clients throughout Central and South America with dedicated, professional expertise. Schwab provides extensive training and internal support that affords employees the opportunity to be successful in service delivery. The Client Service & Operations Specialist will also have the opportunity to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses.
What you’re good at
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Latin America Center branch office in Coral Gables, FL
- Work with new and existing clients on operational and service issues
- Work as a team with existing Latin America Center staff to ensure daily branch operations run effectively
- Provide support to the Financial Consultant staff within the branch office
- Through active listening and open-ended dialogue, partner with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their service needs
- Collaborate with internal business partners and team members to resolve complex client inquiries, and develop knowledge of Schwab products and services
- Assist Schwab clients in navigating our website, respond to client inquiries including account servicing, and field inquiries related to forms and product knowledge support
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities focused on enhancing your technical skills and expanding your knowledge base
- Assist with general account maintenance/service functions and coordinate proper routing of service cases to internal partners when applicable
What you have
- Fluency in Spanish required (written and verbal communication)
- Fluency in Portuguese is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Experience in brokerage services, banking, operations, client support, call center, hospitality, or retail
- Passion for providing premier service and support to Schwab clients
- Strong interest in interacting with clients while effectively engaging in quality conversations in order to establish credible relationships
- Solid work ethic with a high level of integrity with the ability to build trust with clients
- Respect for fellow employees and using the power of teamwork
- Active listening skills and ability to explain complicated subjects
- Ability to adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve
- Technical proficiency in MS Office and the aptitude to learn new programs, as well as easily utilize multiple applications simultaneously in a dual screen environment
