We have a rare opportunity for a hardworking Quality Clinic Data Analyst located at our Pratt & Whitney AutoAir facility in Lansing, MI.

With the growing customer demand for the Next Generation Power Family (NGPF) of engines, Pratt & Whitney Auto Air is fast-growing its team of quality professionals in direct support of facility expansion.

This role will follow customer requirements, regulatory requirements and corporate policies to ensure the production of compliant products.

Responsibilities / accountabilities:

  • Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate on cross functional team projects to improve the overall organization and to develop a career path and leadership, with mentoring and assistance by the Quality Clinic and Quality Technical Managers.
  • Support the Manufacturing Corrective Action Board Data Analysis team in providing actionable data to the General Manager, Business Unit Managers and Quality Manager to reduce production nonconformance and increase yield.
  • Extract Quality and Financial data from SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and other data warehouses.
  • Generate Automated Reports of actionable near real time data for delivery to Quality, Manufacturing and Operations teams to support timely decisions
  • US Citizenship required.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Statistics, Mathematics or other data science related field is strongly desired. In Lieu of a degree, 2 years of post-high school education and 8 years of experience in these areas is required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification desired
  • CQA / CQE desirable

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics or data science is required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access, Visual Basic Scripting, SAP and Minitab. Proficient with remainder of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be knowledgeable of Problem solving and statistical analysis using quality tools (Pareto analysis, statistical process control, multi-variant DOE, 8D, etc.)
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, ISO and FAR 145.
  • Ability to query data from SAP and Solumina database systems.
