Position Overview

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking Structures Integrated Product Manager to join the team located in Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities

• The Structured Integrated Product Team Leader would be responsible for managing employees, first-line managers and mid-level managers (13 managers and approximately 200 employees) performing engineering and technical activities throughout the Mechanical & Structural Engineering discipline (including Rotors, Fuselage, Drive Systems, and Propulsion).
• Developing and executing integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads product and process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees, first-level managers and mid-level managers.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading large design, integration, and test teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
