Boeing is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our V-22 Mission Systems Team in an Entry Level Systems Engineering Technical Analyst role. This team develops Avionics hardware and software solutions for the V-22 Osprey, an advanced multi-mission helicopter for the US Marines, Air Force, Navy, and International defense forces. You will work as a member of a growing team working in a fast-paced environment to help implement and document hardware and software updates for new and enhanced Mission Systems capabilities.

This position is located in Ridley Park, PA, outside Philadelphia.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting quality products, have strong communication skills, and be capable of working in a multi-tasking environment. Example tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing assistance to develop, gather and document basic technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
  • Assisting with the application of systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of basic systems and new product development.
  • Providing assistance to derive and define architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs.
  • Working with the Engineering Team to compile, prepare, and maintain Engineering documentation, databases, test reports, and technical data packages.

This position works under close supervision and guidance from management and senior members of the Engineering team.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience learning new tools, following detailed processes and instructions, and documenting and communicating results in both written and verbal formats
  • Experience following instructions/procedures to execute detailed, repeatable test procedures, which test software functionality
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience providing a detail-oriented and organized approach to conducting one’s work
  • Willingness to adapt, as well as contribute, to ideas that benefit the overall team
  • Occasional travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Currently possess an Associate's degree or higher
  • Experience with writing technical documentation when provided with clear guidance
  • Experience with Avionics software and hardware products and development
  • Prior work or internship experience in an engineering or highly technical environment
  • Knowledge/experience with development and/or tracing of requirements (e.g., DOORS)
  • Agile software development experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation:
