Position Description – Manager, Third Party Logistics – Tegra/Nike - based in Suffolk/Norfolk, Virginia At Fanatics Brands, our Supply Chain is vital to getting the right product to the right customer at the right time to support their celebration of their teams win. Our 3rd Party Operations group is charged with matching the right inventory of raw materials to the right production capacity to meet customer demand. We identify financial successes and opportunities, and then create detailed growth plans to reach and exceed our company goals. We look to identify the most cost effective and efficient ways of moving goods through our network by developing innovative and strategic logistics models. Just as Fanatics continues to rapidly grow, we encourage our team members to do the same by supporting continued education and offering internal career advancement in various areas of our Supply Chain. The primary responsibilities of the Manager of Third Party Logistics is to coordinate and execute activities relating to US market place for inline and hot market apparel specific to Nike through Fanatics Third Party Vendor, Tegra Global. This process includes planning, preparation, and distribution of finished goods.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute inbound and outbound finished goods specific to the Nike 3PL for the market place. This includes managing vendor relationships, event planning, providing regular updates and reporting, determining seasonal and daily schedules, and maintaining effective communication to provide a seamless flow of goods to the market.
- Work cross functionally with teams in planning, customer service, allocations, logistics, and operations to ensure we deliver product on time and to the quality our fans expect.
- Manage Relationships with key blank suppliers and work closing with our global logistics and freight team to plan the demand flow.
- Work closely with teams to ensure we are flowing work in timely manner within the 3PL.
- Travel to Tampa to work cross functionally within the supply chain.
- Drive reporting to key parties internally and externally and in a timely fashion
- Oversee 3PL compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide education on policies and follow up with the 3PL for acceptance and compliance
- Understand and master our compliance needs with customers to insure our outbound shipments are compliant and thus controlling/reducing chargebacks
- Develop KPI’s for the 3PL that are followed and executed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Supervisory or project management experience, in inventory control, logistics and distribution
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven supervisory skills and the ability to manage work flow and motivate staff
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge and understanding of major sports league special events
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing and logistics
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
