Technology Consultant for Telco Cloud & NFV Integration

The successful candidate will join the EMEA Telco Cloud & OSS Orchestration global delivery practice.

The activity will be on EMEA customer designing and realizing NFV and orchestration projects adopting HPE relevant portfolio item and a choice of market products. The Consultant will run design, implementation, testing and consulting activities for our customer in an international context where the technology is the added value to make the customer success proven.

In a typical day as a Technology Consultant for Telco Cloud & NFV Integration, you would

• Be responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project
• Understand a number of company technologies in order to provide technical systems management support or deliver part of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements
• Perform systems configurations, troubleshooting systems errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance, and contribute to the design of technical solutions for customer environments
• Work under supervision of technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
• Act professionally with company customers and participating as part of a team, also maintaining good relationships with team members and customers
• Understand company’s strategy: being more aware of knowledge tools and their application
• Participate in chosen technical community or profession and regularly attend profession or community of interest events
• Be focused on single customer and you would contribute via assigned tasks on specific projects

• Holding a Master’s of Computer Science / equivalent degrees or you are experienced in covering technical roles (3 - 5 years of working experience)
• A person who has 1 – 3 years of technical experience
• Willing to learn the implementation of new technologies in the above domains, Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Telco Cloud Solutions, Internet of Things (IoT), Operation Support Systems (OSS) delivered potentially using and integrating HPE Hardware and Software portfolio, Partners’ product and HPE own industry leader Consulting Services
• Open to working within an international context and you are a fluent English speaker and - ideally – you speak one more language in addition to Italian
• Available to travel in Italy and abroad when required
• Experienced in one or more development environment (Java and or Microsoft)
• A person with a proper knowledge of the most used Operating systems in the market and a strong passion for technology that will lead to build a professional profile in the coming years
• Experienced in the development of WebApplication (front End) or BackEnd Application
• Knowledge of virtualization in terms of Hypervisors (VMWare, KVM, HyperV,...), dockers technology
• A person who knows the Agile and DevOps tools for continuous delivery and continuous integration
• Able to properly and clearly communicate concepts with team, peers and customers
• Keen on working with the proper due discipline to reach objectives
• Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area
