Our Opportunity

The HR Administrator will manage a range of standardised services, including new employee engagement/on-boarding, lifecycle processes and separation. This role will also manage HRIS and Payroll process data entry. In support of ongoing business improvement efforts, the HR Administrator will also participate in project initiatives and partner with stakeholders for project administrative support, process mapping, work instructions, and knowledge base creation. As the HR Shared Service organisation matures, new operational and administrative services will be coordinated and delivered by this role.

Responsibilities

  • 1st Point HR Workflow and Routing

Promoting and maintaining the HR Shared Service delivery model including influencing and

coaching stakeholders in the correct methodology to request services

  • HR Administration Activities

Undertaking the creation of all employment contracts and addendums ensuring the correct

application of Thales terms and conditions of employment including eligibility for applicable

benefits in line with our National Framework, Enterprise Agreements and Remuneration policies.

  • HRIS and Payroll Data Management

Managing all aspects of the HRIS database including gathering the appropriate level of information to correctly input new starter, employee movement and leaver transactions

  • Supporting HR Projects and Business Improvement Initiatives

Supporting Thales HR projects including the Annual Salary Review, LR Development in Role and the at risk/redundancy processes

  • Workday System experience is highly appreciated
  • Proven administration capability
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Energetic and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skill

Special Requirements

The successful candidate will need to successfully clear a pre-employment medical and police check.
