What is the opportunity?

RBC’s Business Service Centre (BSC) is looking to fill the position of Documentation Specialist who will play a key role in the mitigation of credit and operational risk related to credit processes supporting the Commercial Financial Services Sales partners. This role is responsible for enhancing the client experience through efficient preparation of the Letter Agreements and the documentation of the guaranties. This role provides linkage between Commercial Account Managers and the client for value-added support in the sales/service cycle.

What will you do?

  • Review the credit and ensure that transaction details are well defined, clarify with the Account Manager, GAC and / or Business Risk Management to complete the documentation.
  • Prepare the letter agreement, as described on the approved credit.
  • Prepare the customer's security as described on the approved credit.
  • Adapt to change.
  • Work according to the volume of work by following the commitments of the service agreement with our partners.
  • Ensure you track service routines so you can turn off high performance and increase the customer experience

What you need to succeed?

  • Hours of Business are 8h30 to 17H00; occasional overtime as needed during peak periods
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timeframes, to maintain a superior level of client service.

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous experience in documentation preparation is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Synergy
  • Minimum of 2 years of Commercial Banking experience
  • Proficient in MS Word
  • Proficient in preparation of documentation of guaranties
