We are looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer to create and develop Text Designs, Logos, Signage (etc..) for the animated TV Series Boondocks. The designer must be able to work in the Boondocks style (Anime/Realistic).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with production to devise/create graphic designs/text designs/logos/signage that will enhance and support the overall story telling in the production.
• Manipulate image composition and perform basic paint overs when necessary.
• Understand the goals of a given project – knowing the right questions to ask and knowing how to track down answers, taking feedback and following through as needed to complete a project.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a graphic designer or as a Visual Development artist in Animation.
• Understanding of the Boondocks art style.
• Comprehensive understanding of design principles and typography. Exceptional eye for composition and color.
• Expert level knowledge of Adobe Master Suite apps.
• Knowledge of image formats.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with frequent priority shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Able to work well in a collaborative team environment, and within an interactive design process.
• A passion for animated tv shows, movies, graphic novels, science fiction and other elements of pop culture.
