NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Transition Project Manager to join our team in Bucharest , București (RO-B) , Romania (RO) .

Role Overview

Responsible for implementing a technical and business solution that has been sold to the NTT DATA. Bridges the gap between the sales deal closer and the technical delivery implementation. Develops and implements a master transition plan that manages cost and schedule to create or modify facilities, hire required staff, implement and test technical solutions, NTT DATA management, 3rd party partner management, extended transition team management, and implements service delivery processes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepares PowerPoint presentations and delivers during PIW/PPW to the customer and other towers
  • Revises the SD project plan, completes activities, and manages the continuous follow up to meet scheduled milestones
  • Gathers and documents discovery information from customer using presentations, interviews, and conference calls
  • Analyzes discovery information and develops gap analysis and pareto charts to identify risks, issue, and assumptions
  • Reviews SLAs and contracted obligations from the contract and cost model to identify gaps
  • Creates Visio diagrams of the SD process flows
  • Writes hand-off documents which may include: Standard Operating procedures, Service Matrix, and Service Desk Operations Manuals
  • Documents and conducts UAT testing prior to AOS
  • Works closely with Service Management and prepares OPASv3 workbook with EUS information
  • Conducts weekly meetings with EUS Operations and Training
  • Monitors and controls the work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control
  • Interfaces and communicates with transition team and other towers
  • Communicates with the Transition team on project status and RAID updates


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant IT experience or combination of work experience and education
  • Excellent English Language skills
  • Experience with MS Project and expertise with MS Office suite (Excel macros and pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong teamwork skills across client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
  • Understanding of Service Desk, Field Services and/or Desktop Engineering practices, policies and procedures
  • Understanding of project management practices
  • Knowledge of OPASv3 and ServiceNow is preferred
  • Service Management experience is a plus
  • ITIL certification required
  • Project Management certification or training preferred
