Thales Romania delivers advanced signaling, supervision and control systems for railways in close cooperation with Thales Germany, information systems for England’s motorways and major roads in close cooperation with Thales UK and Human Computer Interfaces (HCI) for air and land simulators in cooperation with Thales France.

Having a lot of units, partners and subcontractors with a wide range of business areas that use a varied range of components types in theirs business, arise in the Thales Group the need to manage a complex repository for main information on Commercial parts used by all these units. The new system ( named TCIS-NG = Thales Component Information System New Generation ) will manage information about Raw Materials, Preparations and Chemical Substances, Industrial Processes definition, CAD Models, Environment data, Status regarding Market and external regulation, Equivalents, Thales recommendation (Preferred Part List ...), Obsolescence prediction or Unit Specific Components.

The main services made available for the end users by the new TCIS – NG system will be:

• Web Portal
• XML interfaces with Units and Data providers
• Batches for data extractions or mass updates on user requests
• Matching tools
• Automatic computation of data in real time
• Automatic computation of data in batch time
• Alerts
• Web services

We are seeking smart software automation testers who will be part of Bucharest team for working accordingly to AGILE development life cycle, through designing, developing and testing activities in cooperation with Thales France.

Required competencies:

• Working experience in software test automation: writing test specifications, writing & running automated tests
• Good knowledge of scripting languages
• Knowledge of automated Test Tools: Squish, Selenium;
• Fluency in English

Would be a plus:

• ISTQB Certification;
• Familiar with Agile methodologies;
