Description:

Providence is calling a Patient Care Coordinator ( Primary Care Kendall Yards , Day Shift, 0.5 FTE with 20 hours per week) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Offering a $750 sign on bonus for any new, external candidate hired into this position.

In this position you will:

• Schedule appointments, exams and procedures, and process forms and data
• Patiently and effectively provide feedback and information to patients and their families
• Provide information to assist patients in obtaining hospital and clinic services

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Customer service related experience
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Associate's Degree in healthcare related field
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• 1 year recent experience in the medical field
• Experience with scheduling patient appointments
• Experience in using multi-line phone and greeting customers
