Description
Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority.
Primary Function of Position:
Partner with Manufacturing to develop and sustain a well-trained and flexible workforce through hands-on training, mentoring, and formal certification. Maintain accurate manufacturing and training documentation to ensure the effectiveness of the training process.
Roles and Responsibilities:• Develops and prioritizes quarterly training plans based on input from Production and Training Supervision.• Conducts training, mentoring and formal certification of production technicians in accordance with S & V Training DOP’s and Manufacturing Process Instructions.• Assess technician skills and provides feedback to the appropriate Production Supervisor.• Tracks and maintains training data for accuracy.• Assist technicians with Continuous Improvement support based on approved CI’s.• Performs weekly and monthly Standard Work Audits.• Solicits feedback (Training Evaluation Form) from production technicians to identify areas for improvement in the training process.• Accurately completes manufacturing documentation, initiate reports, escalate quality issues, reports efficiency, and records measurements as required.• Identifies gaps in production coverage and defines a plan to close the gaps.• Updates/red-line MPIs using PowerPoint/Excel/Word as required.• Presents instructor-led courses in the areas of manufacturing skills and processes, quality system/GMP practices and requirements, information technology tools, and other subjects as required.Qualifications
Job Requirements/Skills:• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent• Preferred twelve (12) months of experience in ISI product manufacturing.• Demonstrates exceptional work performance in attendance, quality, and CCEE Standards.• Exhibits excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).• Displays leadership, independence, and solid teamwork skills.• Offers ideas based on observations, experience and job knowledge that improves training, work content and overall efficiency.• Adapt in conflict resolution, solving difficult problems and can proactive anticipate potential learning issues • Demonstrates a proficient level of computer skills and software knowledge in: Agile, SAP, and ISU MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint• Demonstrates a basic understanding of the following: COMMWIP concepts and disciplines. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Intuitive Surgical quality system requirements. All manufacturing guidelines, policies, procedures, DOPs, etc. MPI/WI templates, Design Controls, Change Controls, Product and Engineering ProcessesWe are an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled employer.
