Description
Beckman Coulter is recruiter for a Data Warehouse Architect position located in Brea, CA. The Data Warehouse Architect will join the Business Intelligence and Analytics team to build and support Beckman Coulter’s enterprise data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data warehousing concepts, Oracle BI, BI Apps, Informatica,Informatica Cloud and DAC toolset. The candidate will have a deep understanding of various functional processes such as Logistics, Finance, Service, Sales and Order Management, etc.
  • Work with business users to define and analyze problems and provide the most appropriate technical, application or configuration solutions.
  • Contribute to the organization’s transition to supporting advanced analytics and visualization technologies and practices.
  • Serve as a functional/technical expert who also mentors other members of the technical team and consultants.
  • Develop tactical and strategic BI/analytics solutions for achieving key business objectives.
  • Estimate cost and time for the implementation/development of BI projects.
  • Work on applications and business problems that are highly complex and diverse in scope.
  • Translates business requirements to technical specifications.
  • Leads the Development of project plans and manage projects within and outside of BI functional area.
  • Leads and Manages offshore delivery and provides technical solutions. Works as single point of contact for all offshore technical and functional questions.
  • Develop detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in collaboration with others.
  • Describe logic and complex models to business partners and work directly with them to refine output.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or other relevant fields.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years or Master’s Degree with 7+ years or Ph.D. 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 7+ years of Informatica experience, 7+ years of Oracle BI experience , 5+ years of Oracle BI Apps, experience with EiS and DAC is required.
  • 2+ years of Informatica Cloud experience, is highly preferred.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of the OBIEE reporting platform including Data Visualization, Analysis, and Reporting, PowerBI, BIAPPS (7.9.6), Informatica, Informatica Cloud and DAC.
  • Advanced knowledge in data modeling and Oracle database performance management.
  • Hands on experience with visualization tools like PowerBI, Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience with integrating cloud OLTP systems like Salesforce, Big Machines, Service Max,Smart Solve etc into the data warehouse.
  • Extensive experience in working with on-site/off-shore model.
  • Knowledge in the administration, OBI security, maintenance, provisioning and metadata creation of BI toolsets.
  • Advanced functional knowledge in Oracle Finance, Supply Chain, Service business functions and processes, along with exposure to other modules such as Sales, Order to Cash, Product Contracts, CRM etc
  • Working knowledge of the Oracle R12 e-Business Suite data model to ensure effective and optimal design, deployment, and support of Oracle-based reporting solutions.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills and ability to adapt communications to the level and nature of the audience.
  • Experience in Project Management.
